About Pantheon

Pantheon School of Gymnastics was founded in 1982. Having moved to Hilo from Rancho Cordova, California in 1996, it has been home to many national caliber athletes.

We at Pantheon pride ourselves on developing well-rounded, confident, coordinated athletes in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment through educational physical activity.

We take pride in educating and training our staff with all of the new techniques, safety standards, and information available. Our instructors are not only very knowledgeable in gymnastics and spotting, but they also have the most necessary attribute of loving children!

Our team coaches are safety certified through USA Gymnastics. They are also skill evaluator certified and we have nationally certified gymnastics judges on staff. We are constantly going to or hosting clinics for the gymnastics community nationwide.

Pattie & Jerry Walkabout have been the owners of Pantheon School of Gymnastics since 1987.

Founded in 1972, Hilo Gymnastics Club started the sport of gymnastics in Hilo, Hawaii. Established as a non-profit organization in 1979, this parent -based club organizes fundraisers to help support the travel fund of the Pantheon competitive teams.

A sponsorship program has been developed to aid in travel expenses for the athletes to travel to competitions throughout Hawaii and the United States.
